Social Responsibility

At Zuraw Financial Advisors, we are dedicated to giving back to our community, both locally and globally. Ann Zuraw supports the United Way, a national system of volunteers, contributors, and local charities helping people in their own communities. Not only is Ann on their Worldwide Leadership Council, but she has also traveled with them around the world.

We understand that not everyone can afford financial advice and that people around the country need assistance. Through our blog, Chicks, Chat, and Change, we strive to educate women about parenthood, money, investing, and more. Our goal is to provide ongoing practical information and resources for women who find themselves faced with life-changing situations, whether it’s sending a child to college as a single mother or facing a divorce. Through Chicks, Chat, and Change and Zuraw Financial Advisors, we support a number of organizations including the Junior League, Junior Achievement, March of Dimes, MS Society, Community Foundation of Greater Greensboro, Triad Stage, YWCA and YMCA. Ann hosts a number of speaking engagements and seminars at the Women’s Resource Center in Greensboro, North Carolina, and assists with community fundraisers. The Emmanuel Sternberger Scholarship Fund was established in 1925 by Ann’s great Grandmother, Bertha Sternberger, to honor and memorialize her husband by providing scholarships to local college students from North Carolina without regard to sex, race, or religious beliefs.
